You all know I love my newborns, but OH how I love the 6-12 month stage too! This is the time your baby starts sitting up comfortably, learns to crawl, and has a personality like no other. They are crazy and cute and so much fun. I highly recommend having this stage captured, it's such a fun and special time in your child's development.

Sitter sessions take place at my studio in Ridgefield, WA, usually between the ages of 6-12 months old. These sessions are designed to show off your little one's personality and capture the rolls, smiles & drool that come along with it.

Sitter sessions usually take about 45 minutes on average. During the session, we will use a variety of props and accessories for your baby. The studio is also stocked with girl/boy outfits that you are welcome to choose from, making the session easy-breezy since you literally just need to show up with your baby and nothing else!

Sitter sessions are for babies only and do not include sibling or family shots.

These sessions are designed strictly for the babies! If you'd like to get family/sibling photos, please check into an outdoor session with me during the warm season or a Mommy & Me Mini! Thank you for your understanding!

Can we get any family or sibling photos?

There isn't much preparation for your sitter session! Your best bet for a successful session is to make sure your baby has napped and is well-fed before the session. You can also bring little snacks along if your baby is eating solids to keep them happy between photos.
My studio is stocked with vintage-inspired baby clothes (rompers, dresses, overalls, knit shorts, etc.) so if you love that style, just bring your baby, and I will dress him/her. However, you are also welcome to bring any outfits you want to incorporate!

How should we prepare for our sitter session?

For sitter sessions, I require the session be paid in full at the time of booking.

Do you require a deposit at the time of booking?

Some families book two sitter sessions, at 6 months and 12 months. Others book only one session, and I personally love the 7-9 month age range best! The ideal scenario is a baby who sits comfortably, can get into crawling position, but isn't yet walking. If you book your session in advance, I'm happy to reschedule if your baby isn't yet sitting up by the time the session date approaches.
