This summer has been crazy, to say the least. I never envisioned wedding season to be so much work as a photographer. I am still learning everyday in regards to the photography business world…and it’s been quite the ride. I’ll be the first to admit, there are times when I question whether or not wedding photography is for me. There is a lot of pressure when capturing a day that you can never redo. From the first kiss as a married couple to the first dance, it’s important that I be there, ready. It can be stressful at times, but there is one thing that always makes up for it, and that’s the final images. When I’m done with a wedding blog, I always look through it a couple times, as if I were just a normal viewer. I find myself shedding tears sometimes while looking through the pictures…and that’s when I know I’ve done my job as a photographer. As I click “publish” on this post, my worries seem to disappear.
Kortnie & Spencer are amazingly beautiful people. And don’t let their outer beauty be mistaken for their TRUE beauty. I have a dear spot in my heart for this couple, as they have generously donated so many of their valuable things to help with Jake and my adoption fund. We are so grateful there are people like them in this world. I was privileged that I was asked to capture them on one of the most special days of their lives. I truly wish the best for them, and I can’t wait to see their family grow throughout the years.
Hope you enjoy-
This wedding was held at Camas Meadows Gold Course in Camas, WA.
